Klezmer Tunes Workshop

The Old Avoca Schoolhouse in Avoca, Nebraska will be streaming on line “Klezmer Tunes Workshops” for folks who play fiddle, violin, viola, cello, bass, and mandolin.

The Workshops will be on Friday, August 20, at 7 PM and Sunday, August 22, at 2:30 PM, Central Time.

Each participant residing in the US will receive a copy of our “Klezmer Fiddle Tunes for Two, Volume 2”, written for the instrument of their choice.

This collection presents 29 lively Klezmer pieces arranged for two players (melody and harmony). These charming duets feature bulgars, freylekhs, niguns, horas, waltzes, zhoks, etc. Chords are included.

Pre-registration required. The fee for one “Klezmer Tunes Workshop” is $25.00. The fee for two “Klezmer Tunes Workshops” is $35.00. Different tunes will be explored in each of the “Klezmer Tunes Workshops”.
