The Energy of Maxim Rubtsov
Maxim Rubtsov is the Principal Flutist of the Russian National Orchestra who frequently performs in chamber ensembles and as a soloist. “Even though I began to play the flute when I was quite young I am still and always a dancer. I interpret music with my whole body. I do not find it possible to stand still.”

Convention in Charlotte
Each August thousands of flutists of all ages and playing abilities gather to celebrate their love for the instrument at the NFA convention. This year some of the finest performers and teachers in the world will provide concerts and presentations at the Charlotte (N.C.) Convention Center and the Belk Theater. The exhibit hall is open daily from 10-5 and features the latest in instruments, music, and accessories.
