Long Island Flute Club Fall Ensemble Concert
 

The Long Island Flute Club's Fall Ensemble concert will feature the LIFC's Professional Flute Choir. The 12 member ensemble, conducted by Deborah Schild will play music by Delibes, Berlioz, Debussy, Franckenpohl, and Joplin. The highlight of the concert will be "An Afternoon with the Kiddo," a humorous suite of pieces inspired by composer Greg Lutz' own experiences as "Mister Mom."  The Long Island Flute Club's Student Honors Flute Choir, directed by Danielle Schulman,  will perform works by Grier, Grieg, and Schocker. The concert will be held at the Half Hollow Hills Community Library at 2:00 PM. The library is located at 55 Vanderbilt Parkway, Dix Hills, NY. For information: [email protected]
